Weekly Planning

I was first introduced to a Planner with those Daily Pages, many years ago when I started working. And I have loved planning since then. But there was no such thing as decorating your pages or somewhat but I always find it fun to use those sticky notes, especially if I could find those cute ones in the stores.

A couple years ago I stumbled upon the trend of decorating your Planner, almost like scrapbooking in your Planner or sort. And I was in utter joy!! I thought "this was why I loved Stickey Notes so much! I knew that it could be much more fun than this!" But why didn't I think of decorating my Planner back then? Maybe it was because of the fact that I was using it in the office, and my brain was made to understand that "you're in the office. You're not allowed to have fun!" kinda thing. Can you relate to that? So in actual, my fun-craving inner self was trying to tell me something. That I can have a little fun in the office. That I can decorate my boring corporate Planner to make it more fun to work in/with. And the rest was history! Haha!

At the end of 2016 I saw someone shared about her Weekly Pages (I really wish I could remember who it was so I could tag her here...huhu. Thank you to you whoever you are) while I was surfing the internet, and I immediately wanted to try it. I have been using it until today. Evonne and I designed and incorporated it in our 2017's Live-Love-Plan's Planner, and we are still using the same method this year. We love using the Weekly Pages, because you can view, and monitor your work and schedules for the whole week. For Daily Pages, you'd have to flip back to those earlier few days to check on your work. And it saves papers. There are only 4-5 weeks in a month so you'd only have to purchase or print 10 pages of those (2 pages for each week). For Daily, obviously you'd need 30-31 pages. So it save papers and space in your Planner.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with using the Daily Pages for those who prefers to. It all depends on what's working, what's effective, what's convenient, and what's comfortable for us. Who knows, we might want to use it back in the future. Hehe.

Do share with us your opinions or suggestions on creative and effective planning. We love to see and learn from you lovely crafters. We had so much fun doing this so far so maybe it is time to give something back. A giveaway? Let us know what you think ;D. Cheers!
